Cookie and Tracking Technologies Policy

Effective: May 1, 2026

Last Updated: May 1, 2026

This Cookie and Tracking Technologies Policy explains how Talarity uses cookies, pixels, local storage, software development kits, tags, and similar technologies on our website and services.

1. What Are Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Cookies are small text files placed on your browser or device when you visit a website. We may also use similar technologies, such as pixels, tags, local storage, and scripts. These technologies help websites and online services function, remember preferences, improve performance, understand usage, and support security.

Some cookies and similar technologies identify a browser or device rather than a named individual. Where cookie data is considered personal information or personal data under applicable law, we handle it as described in our Privacy Policy.

2. Where This Policy Applies

In this Policy, "Site" means our public website, and "Service" means Talarity's hosted application and related services. This Policy applies to the Site and, where applicable, the Service.

3. Types of Cookies and Tracking Technologies We Use

A. Strictly Necessary Cookies

These cookies and technologies are required for the Site or Service to function properly and cannot generally be disabled through our cookie settings tool.

Examples include:

  • Session management;
  • Security and fraud prevention;
  • Authentication;
  • Load balancing;
  • Remembering cookie consent choices.

Consent: Not required where cookies are strictly necessary to provide the Site or Service requested by the user.

Privacy law basis: Legitimate interests, performance of a contract, or compliance with legal obligations, as applicable.

B. Performance and Analytics Cookies

These cookies and technologies help us understand how visitors use the Site and Service so we can improve performance and usability.

Examples include:

  • Page visits;
  • Traffic sources;
  • Browser and device information;
  • Aggregated usage trends;
  • Site performance metrics.

Where required by law, we use these cookies only with your consent.

C. Functional Cookies

These cookies and technologies enable enhanced functionality and personalization.

Examples include:

  • Remembering user interface preferences;
  • Remembering cookie choices;
  • Maintaining selected settings.

Where required by law, we use these cookies only with your consent.

D. Advertising and Marketing Cookies

We do not currently use advertising cookies or cross-context behavioral advertising cookies. If this changes, we will update this Policy and request consent where required.

If we enable advertising or marketing cookies in the future, they will not be set unless required consent has been obtained, and use of these cookies may constitute "sharing" or "targeted advertising" under certain U.S. state privacy laws. Where applicable, you may opt out as described in our Privacy Policy or through the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link.

4. Third-Party Cookies and Providers

Some cookies and similar technologies may be provided by third parties acting on our behalf. These providers may process information in accordance with their own privacy policies and contractual obligations to Talarity.

We currently use Plausible Analytics for privacy-focused, cookieless website analytics. Plausible does not use cookies for analytics. If we enable analytics or marketing tools that use cookies or similar technologies, we will disclose them through our cookie settings tool and request consent where required.

Current cookie and tracking technology providers, including cookie names, purposes, categories, and durations, are identified in our cookie settings tool where available. See also our Sub-processors page.

5. Consent and Control

Where required by law:

  • Non-essential cookies and similar technologies are not used unless you provide consent through an affirmative action;
  • You may accept, reject, or customize cookie choices through our cookie banner or cookie settings tool;
  • You may withdraw or change consent at any time through our cookie settings tool;
  • We do not treat closing the banner, scrolling, or continuing to browse as consent where affirmative consent is required.

6. California and Other U.S. State Privacy Choices

Depending on your location, certain cookies or tracking technologies may be considered a "sale," "sharing," or use for "targeted advertising" under applicable privacy laws.

Where required, you may opt out through our Privacy Policy, our cookie settings tool, or a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link. Where required, Talarity also honors legally recognized opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control, as a request to opt out of sale or sharing of personal information for the browser or device sending the signal.

7. Managing Cookies

You can manage cookies by:

  • Using our cookie banner or cookie settings tool;
  • Adjusting your browser settings to block or delete cookies;
  • Enabling privacy controls supported by your browser or device.

Disabling cookies may affect Site or Service functionality.

8. Cookie Details

For a detailed and up-to-date list of cookies and similar technologies, including names, providers, purposes, categories, and durations, please refer to our cookie settings tool available on the Site.
